I best book my table at cafe de Flore.

Provence is fast approaching and I'm becoming evermore bewitched by the French. Listening to Juliette Greco and Francoise Hardy, riding around on ma bicyclette and reading Madame Bovary, a 1930 copy i rescued from Bygone Times. I should really get back to my English roots.

Oh Karl J'adore

Chanel Couture never fails to blow my girlish socks off. This season is no exception, so much french beauty to withhold.
Gold detailing ran alongside trims of crystals and furs. Rich maroons and navy a backdrop for stunning tapestry. Darker than usual yet still enchanting.

Do you prefer "fashion victim" or "ensembly challenged"?

Mel: What the hell is that?
Cher: A dress.
Mel: Says who?
Cher: Calvin Klein

Francisco Costa has reissued the little white dress that Cher wears in the film Clueless. He tracked down the original pattern from a factory in Itlay and from the news on Elle.com we all have Ilaria Urbinati to thank, co-owner of LA boutique, Confederacy who convinced him to remake the iconic dress we all wanted so badly.

Already I've drew inspiration from Cher and her sheer shirts, the Calvin Klein dress is the cherry on the cake.
